Does the series go out a champ or is it knocked out in the final round? The presentation of Fight Night Champion is amazing stuff. EA went in a different direction with the visuals in this game and it is a darker, grittier and more hard-hitting looking game. If you read anything about this game you will read about how EA wanted to capture how brutal boxing can be, well this game does just that. The actual boxers and the many different locations all look great, as does the TV-style presentation.
However, it is the damage that appears on the boxers, the blood, cuts, bumps, and bruises that are really well done. The destruction looks so realistic that the game had to be rated M for mature! While you can play Fight Night Champion with the buttons if you like.
They added in a new control method to this game where you perform your strikes with the right analog stick. It may sound a bit odd, but it works much better and gives you freer control over your boxer.
You can still dish out more devastating moves with various combinations, but overall, I would say the controls are much more accessible this time around.
It is a real shame that this was the last game as the controls here are really perfect and I would love to have seen how they implemented new things to this control scheme.
There are various game modes on offer in Fight Night Champion. The studio had preannounced the date and launched this game on Mar 01, This PC game lacks the multiplayer mode, which is quite popular nowadays. Andre Bishop is a boxer serving time in a correctional facility. After winning a jailhouse boxing match against another inmate, he is cornered and brutally beaten by several prisoners including his opponent.
Bishop wakes up severely injured and damaged. The game then flashes back 4 years to his rise as a professional fighter. After a few successful bouts, he and his trainer Gus Carisi are approached by DL McQueen, famed fight promoter and longtime foe of Carisi who offers to promote Andre under the management of his daughter Meagan.
The two refuse, causing a dispute between the crooked promoter and Bishop. McQueen continues to urge Andre to sign a deal with him, only to be denied each time.
He soon frames Andre of police assault with the help of two crooked cops. Andre is then sentenced to over 5 years in prison. After a series of fights inside of jail Andre is framed and ambushed in the showers where he gets a rough beating. Soon after recovering from his injuries, Andre begins to train himself and keep fit while imprisoned.
He is angered to discover that his brother Raymond had become a professional heavyweight with McQueen Promotions, the company that framed him.
Size: 7. In the game, you need to fight against other characters, fight them on equal terms and try to defeat them on the spot in every possible way. There is a chic storytelling, great storyline and great gameplay. Management is quite simple, there are many combinations and tricks. Fight for your honor by destroying other opponents in the boxing ring.
You must defeat all opponents who have decided to appear before you in the form of boxers. Go from an amateur to a real boxing professional, becoming his legend. Control Andre Bishop, a talented man who decided to go into boxing because of a hard life. He served several years in prison, was subject to great failures and now decides to throw off all this burden from his shoulder and become on the winning side. Play as a free game, fighting with any of the selected opponents, or in a career mode, where you can understand the full burden of the future champion in this wonderful sport.
